- Introduction – Discuss the scope of the project and get a preliminary understanding of client’s vision, how they will use the space, and budget
- Initial Design Consultation Phase
- Site visit to do walkthrough and deeper discussion into the use of each space and the occupants. The site visit is a fact gathering process
- Discuss project time line
- Creating letter of agreement
- Planning Phase
- Additional discussions on preferences, style and gathering of inspiration images
- Measurement of areas included in the project
- Inventory of existing furnishing to be included in the project
- Create a budget
- Conceptual Design Phase –
- Preliminary drawings, floor plans and simple elevations, if applicable, focusing on the layout and function of the space
- Presentation for feedback
- Identify subcontractors
- Design Development
- Research/sourcing of furniture, finishes, fixture and equipment
- Presentation of design for feedback
- Budget update
