We are in the full swing of Summer – Summer Fridays by the Pool, BBQs, entertaining, entertaining! What is more fun than a well appointed bar cart for serving cocktails? Here are some images of selected bar carts. Don’t forget to add:
- necessary tools – straws, garnish picks, shaker, jigger, muddler, glassware (a few tumblers and highball glasses)
- cocktail napkins
- the necessary ingredients for your featured cocktails
- ice bucket
- some fresh cut flowers or greenery – keep it very small
What’s your favorite cocktail? I like to serve Margaritas in the Summer. Here is a classic Margarita recipe:
Serves 6
Margarita Mix Ingredients
• 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (5 limes)
• 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice (1 lemon)
• 1 cup Cointreau
• 1 cup tequila (100% agave )
Ingredient if you like Salt on the rim of your glass
• 1 lime, halved
• Kosher salt
Directions
• Rub the halved lime on outside rim of glasses and dip each glass in Kosher salt
• Combine Margarita Mix with 2 cups of ice in a blender and puree
• Shake well in cocktail shaker with some extra ice
• Strain into glasses
